Armin Sabol - Ready To Roll - Live At Gitarrentage Schorndorf - CD

After the very successful release of Armin's highly acclaimed and very well received album ‘Back In Blue’ in spring 2022, now is the time to show the world the live qualities of this outstanding singer / guitarist and his awesome band. Recorded at the GUITAR DAYS 2022 in Schorndorf/Germany on May 26th, ‘Ready To Roll’ proves that his highly energetic Blues-Rock is made to be played live! Besides their own material, they provide great versions of unforgotten classics like ‘Fortunate Son’ by CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL, ‘Sharp Dressed Man’ by ZZ TOP or ‘Mercury Blues’ by K.C. DOUGLAS from a special magical night.

ARMIN SABOL is an old stager in the music business. In 1977 he founded the hard rock band Shiva together with Mat Sinner (SINNER, PRIMAL FEAR, ROCK MEETS CLASSIC). In 1981 Armin met the still unknown singer PETER SCHILLING. Together they developed a sound that would change the pop world.

The debut album ‘Fehler im System’ was released at the end of 1982, and the first single ‘Major Tom’ stormed the top of the charts in Germany. Other countries followed. Even in the USA the song’s English version stormed onto #14 of the Billboard Hot 100. It even cracked the #1 position in the US dance charts.

This resulted in four gold records from Germany, Austria and Canada (single and album) as well as countless TV-appearances. While the second album ‘120 Grad’ (‘Things To Come’) together with the single ‘Terra Titanic’ could not keep up to the success of the first album, 1986 the team split and Armin went separate ways.

As a studio musician for acts such as Hazel'O'Connor, Eric Burdon or Thomas D. ARMIN SABOL got booked for performances on several albums and singles of the German mega-act DIE FANTASTASCHEN VIER. Armin also kept on working as a producer.
