The lyrics of the songs, which the band always writes together, deal with serious themes from the \"real\" world, which the WASTELAND CLAN transfers into the post-apocalyptic scenario they have created. Social and societal challenges, standing up against injustice, tyrants, or simply the struggle for (emotional) survival are timeless; they have always existed and likely never will change. By creating their post-apocalyptic world and the corresponding stage show, the band presents these themes in an abstract, entertaining way, but the messages are conveyed just as powerfully as in a current news report.
