Founded by former BLACKENED guitarist Michael Goldschmidt in Freiburg, GOLDSMITH release their fourth album “Into The Wilds”. With eight energetic songs and 42 minutes of raw, honest sound, the band unleashes a sonic firestorm that combines classic Heavy Metalroots with modern power. Produced by Christoph Brandes and Michael Goldschmidt at the renowned Iguana Studios in March, “Into The Wilds” offers thunderous drums, powerful riffs and an energetic atmosphere. The band moves confidently between METALLICA, BLACK SABBATH and GHOST and occasionally adds punk influences to their sound.
The power trio, which is joined live by guitarist Stan Berzon, delivers a statement full of drive, anger and authenticity. They succeed in combining complex themes with catchy
hooks and an uncompromising joy of playing. The songs about primal fears, hypocrisy and life on the road are a journey through the history of heavy metal. Sometimes epically
beautiful, sometimes untamed wild, but always straight in the face. It is an ode about backstage romance and realities of life on the road. “With this album, I went back to my
youth – it feels like 1994,” says Michael Goldschmidt. The cover artwork by well-known German comic artist Timo Würz reflects the powerful mood of the album and skillfully
