MAN ON MAN are a new band born out of lockdown less than a year old. They are the New York based duo featuring Joey Holman and Roddy Bottum. Their music and message is an incredibly bold representation and celebration of gay love and queer sexuality. Roddy's a founding member of such beloved groups as Imperial Teen (Merge Records) and Faith No More. Whilst Joey was the guitarist for the Nashville Christian band, Cool Hand Luke, and more recently started a solo emo project called HOLMAN. Their debut album was recorded while sheltering in California, and was mixed by Mike Davis (Great Grandpa's Four of Arrows) and Carlos de la Garza (Hayley Williams, M83). Joey from Paramore plays bass on the record. Their self-produced debut video (see link below) for "Daddy" (featured on Direction) was premiered via Rolling Stone and quickly garnered them attention within the LGBTQIA+ community. Shortly after, it was taken down by YouTube, and was later reinstated (with an apology issued) after fans of the band challenged the platform for engaging in doublestandard practices in how sexuality is portrayed in videos starring cis-hetero artists.
