The band has released three studio albums to date, plus a string of EPs, \u0026amp; has primarily existed as a duo featuring guitarist Alexander Nordgaren (formerly live guitarist for Norwegian legends, Mayhem) \u0026amp; drummer\/vocalist Svein Egil “Zweizz” Hatlevik (Umoral, Strid, exDødheimsgard) throughout their full history.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eFleurety was considered a slight oddity to the rest of the Norwegian movement at the time of their inception, for developing an altogether different style with more dynamic musical influences \u0026amp; obscure \u0026amp; non-traditional riffing. Following on from the ‘Black Snow’ demo in 1993 \u0026amp; the ‘A Darker Shade Of Evil’ 7” the following year, the band presented their full-length debut to the world in the shape of ‘Min Tid Skal Komme’; an exquisite \u0026amp; revered journey through dark \u0026amp; often introspective soundscapes.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e‘Department Of Apocalyptic Affairs’ followed in 2000 \u0026amp; revealed an even more avantgarde, eccentric \u0026amp; eclectic blend of genre fusing, with Nordgaren \u0026amp; Hatlevik joined by a multitude of guests on the album, including many legends of the Norwegian scene including Hellhammer \u0026amp; Maniac of Mayhem, \u0026amp; Kristoffer Rygg of fellow Norwegian experimentalists Ulver, who also handled production duties on the release.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis edition of ‘Department Of Apocalyptic Affairs’ marks the album’s debut pressing on the vinyl format, \u0026amp; is presented on limited white \u0026amp; black marble vinyl.
