Right from the austere opening choral notes into the senses-swarming chords of the record’s first riff, Indecent Idols creates an allenveloping and alternately dense \/ spacious  xperience; one could call it “monastic” if not for the heretical lyricism, but the strident march of it all says everything on its own.
