The second version of the group also released two albums.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eBeck then joined up with ex-Vanilla Fudge members Carmine Appice and Tim Bogert, with whom he continued as the Jeff Beck Group initially, but by the end of 1972 the trio were re-christened Beck, Bogert \u0026amp; Appice.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIn April 1973 their eponymous debut album was released but while critics acknowledged the band's instrumental prowess, it was not commercially successful, leaving a second LP recorded but never released.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eJeff transitioned in 1975 and experimented with Jazz Rock, a style he continued with throughout the rest of the 1970s. During the ‘80s, Beck made two albums in a more rock instrumental style, both of which were nominated for Grammy Awards.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIn the 1990s, Beck had a higher musical output. He contributed to albums by Jon Bon Jovi, Roger Waters, Kate Bush and Beverley Craven.
