  • Description

Sardinian Native Black Metal veterans VULTUR started their journey with “Corona De Frastimus”, recorded
between 2007 and 2008 but published in 2009. The record was initially published independently and then
reissued by Infernal Overkill Records. From there, the band started a certain degree of popularity in Southern
America (which eventually led to touring over there).
VULTUR style has always been aggressive, unmerciful and fast-paced, showcasing intriguing riffs and a
certain degree of dark violence. Fans of old Satyricon, Marduk, Mayhem and Immortal will find themselves
pleased, as well as for the lovers of Dissection's melodic bridges, old Rotting Christ's evocativeness and
Mortuary Drape's rhythmic dynamism and heaviness.
Founded exactly 20 years ago, VULTUR has been one of the very first Black Metal acts featuring lyrics in
Sardinian Campidanese language, with themes about Sardinian occultism and folk superstitions. Sardinia,
the island whose ancient population dates back to the Bronze Age, features a rich archaic history and culture,
whose folklore still breaths nowadays within its fond population.
After a now sold-out small reissue for the South-american market and after the success of the recent
“Cultores De Perdas E Linna”, the cd is available for the first time on the European market.
