A Cloud Of Ravens - Lost Hymns - CD DIGIPAK

Formed in the autumn of 2018, Brooklyn, NY’s A Cloud of Ravens hit the ground running with a string of self-released offerings, marking their place in the burgeoning contemporary darkscene, and garnering attention that would result in a one-off release deal, being the duo’s 2021 full-length album Another Kind of Midnight; a mournful yet triumphant paean exploring the heart of a world amidst a devastating pandemic, and torn by moral tribalism. The effort was widely noted for its effective merging of classic and contemporary post-punk and darkwave sensibilities, and somewhat poetic use of prose and metaphor in expressing the trials and joys of the world in which we now find ourselves. This was followed by a remixes EP, featuring reimagined tracks by artists such as ACTORS, Clan of Xymox, Chris Vrenna, John Fryer, and Ritual Howls. Singer/guitarist Matt McIntosh and bassist Beth Narducci immediately began work on a new album in the spring of 2021, completed by autumn, and mastered by Jason Corbett at Jacknife Sound that December. The band then began talks with Berlin-based independent label Nexilis, under the flag of Schubert Music Europe, who will release A Cloud of Ravens’ third full-length album ‘ LOST HYMNS ‘.
