For some, time is money, for others, Thrash is life.

In Morlaix, in 1996, it was based on this precept that François Voisin, alias Fanfan, created Anthares in order to annoy his people and express his emotions in explosive riffs.

30 years later, despite numerous pick attacks, the Flying V is intact and still operational to move heads that do not move all over the West Coast and more if necessary!
Anthares in your face, one could say, is music without concessions or embellishments, embellished with lyrics that are sometimes metaphorical (Pro Memoria in 1999), committed (Addicted to chaos in 2019) or totally apocalyptic (After the war to be released soon).
Despite a forced break from 2001 to 2013, Anthares follows a trajectory where compromises are not allowed to conquer the theaters of France and Navarre: first part of Loudblast in 1999, Hellfest in 2014, Brest in 2018, La Rochelle in 2020…

Anthares, version 2023, is Yann and his possessed singing, Guéna and his slamming bass, Alex with wild solos, Olive with the explosion of snare drumheads and the unwavering Fanfan to pilot the ship and make his rhythms click.
