Chadwick Saint John

Chadwick St. John, also known as Inkshadows is an artist and musician. He began illustrating as a child, focusing on pen and ink, forming his style at the age of thirteen. His early instinctual desire to create emerged in themes of fantasy, horror, myths, magic, supernatural and religion.
Most of his art is black and white, using pens, brushes and ink, pencil, paint, charcoal, or sometimes mediums such as dirt, ash, fire and smoke.

His art was first published in the year 1995 and afterward his art appeared in magazines and books on subjects of horror, folklore, mysticism and music.
In 1997 he began work on three issues of an underground fantasy/horror graphic novel titled, 'The Piper' with his label 'Dark Harvest Productions'.

He has created art for film productions in forms of storyboards, conceptual art, character and set designs.
His musical creations vary in style from folk, acoustic, electronic, soundscapes, and extreme genres of heavy metal, and he has created music for other bands, radio commercials, promos and demos.

Much of his art can be seen on album covers in genres of extreme music, predominantly from Europe like: Arckanum, Darkthrone, Grafvitnir...
