One of the most infamous and respected Italian Black Metal acts, LORD VAMPYR return with their landmark 7th album! Formed in 2004 by scene legend Alex Nunziati (Malamorte, Alex Nunziati Project) after leaving his ground-breaking and highly influential act Theatres des Vampires, LORD VAMPYR released their debut album “De Vampyrica Philosophia” in 2005. Followed by “Carpathian Tragedies” (2009), “Horror Masterpiece” (2010), “Gothika Vampyrika Heretika” (2013), “Death Comes Under the Sign of the Cross” (2018) and “The Vampire's Legacy” (2021), all of which crowned them atop the hierarchy of “Vampiric Black Metal” alongside Cradle of Filth and Siebenbürgen!

LORD VAMPYR performs symphonic black metal, with strong influences from classical music, opera, darkwave, deathrock, gothic rock and industrial subgenres, expanding their unique and refreshing sound to broader horizons. Throughout their stylistic expansion, the band always kept their vampiric image and style. LORD VAMPYR has toured extensively across the world, including EU stints opening for Christian Death, a 20 date Mexican tour in 2008 and countless festivals throughout Europe, Russia and other countries. The band created a coherent image of vampirism in their stage performance, through their lyrical themes and the atmosphere of their music, which contributed heavily to their always-growing international fan base!

LORD VAMPYR now return with their long-awaited new album “The Greatest Bloodbath”, undeniably their most in-depth work to date in their 21+ year career of vampyric evil! Incorporating their iconic sound of Vampiric Gothic Black metal with strong classical musings, the new album also sees the band giving heavy nods to classic-era King Diamond. Recorded at Music Up studio, the “The Greatest Bloodbath” features a stellar production, bolstered by Superb Hammer Horror-esque cover art by legendary artist Badic Art! The album is split into 2 chapters, with the 1st chapter being a stand-alone album, and the 2nd chapter being an original motion picture soundtrack score sure to appeal to all fans of John Carpenter, Goblin and early 70’s horror films!
