Japan’s smash hit violinist Ayasa has gathered five of her country’s most exciting rock musicians to form a passionate new project called EAST OF EDEN; a world class rock band with a sound and image that can transcend genre. FORBIDDEN FRUIT – 1ST PIECE is their first mini album together and includes their breakout tracks ‘The Moment’ and ‘Evolve’, with the exciting videos to both tracks close to reaching one million views on YouTube in a short time. Alongside Ayasa is vocalist Akane Minato who is no stranger to Japanese TV, Yuki the spectacular guitarist of D_Drive, bassist Wakazaemon from Maximum The Hormone’s franchise band COTTELEE, and drummer MIZUKI who has performed at some of Japan’s biggest venues and festivals. This international version of the album includes the original 20-page booklet, plus an additional booklet containing the song’s lyrics in English (with some translations by Wakazaemon), as well as transliterations so fans can sing along without needing to understand Japan’s writing system.
