Axel Hermann

Born in 1968, Axel Hermann is a selftaught illustrator and coverartist based in Dortmund, Germany.

Now in his 25th year of freelancing he is best known for his classic Death-Metal-coverartworks for bands like Asphyx, Morgoth, Grave and Unleashed.

Furthermore he created comissioned works for Sodom, In Flames, Iced Earth, Desaster, Samael. Ruins Of Beverast and a lot more.

He is also a Tattoo Artist at Sam's Tattoo, Gelsenkirchen, Germany.
