Completely revitalised with modern production and a far stronger mix, ‘Aealo’ emerges more cinematic than ever: female lamentation choirs, martial percussion, folkloric melodies, and commanding riff-work collide in a sweeping vision of war, tragedy, and pagan spirituality. Guest appearances by Diamanda Galás and Alan A. Nemtheanga (Primordial) heighten the album’s mythic presence, while the enhanced dynamics reveal layers previously buried in the original recording.
