Waxen’s 7th album, “High Plaines Bloodlust” see’s Toby Knapp bringing a much more melodic approach to their normal rough and raw Black Thrash Metal sound. The album is loaded with traditional thrash metal riffing that transforms into black metal shredding, then oscillates towards a neo-classical heavy metal solo or segments of brutal death metal tremolo.
