Following the promising "Electric Lady" released in 2017 and the compelling "Gun Control" that came out two years ago, the Northern rockers are back with their highly anticipated third album, "Still Burning...". And let’s just say, the guys are in top form. From the very first notes of “Watchman Of Darkness,” the Abbymen grab you by the throat and won’t let go until 12 tracks later. This album follows logically from its predecessors while also carving out its own identity. Expect a Sabbath-esque vibe on “Wild Horse” and “The Enemy You Love To Hate,” and enjoy the delightfully bold lyrics of the bluesy “The Night Before.” The fiery ballad “Man On The Shelf,” featuring a hair-raising solo by Luke Debruyne, showcases all the elements that are quintessentially Abbygail, while steering clear of repetition.

What truly sets Abbygail apart is that the tracks on this third album, a crucial milestone for any respectable rock 'n' roll band, are designed for live performance. You can already picture the audience belting out the chorus of “My Religion” at the top of their lungs. And then there’s that extra something that shows Abbygail has reached a new level. This anthem, which will undoubtedly become a defining track for the Boys, is “Gamebae.” With your eyes closed, you can almost imagine this song being recorded during the sessions of "Powerage," if you know what I mean.
