This new triple CD set celebrates and details Dylan’s lengthy and spectacular live career, and contains three previously unreleased live recordings from the 1970s and 1980s.
DISC ONE features Bob’s show at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Arena, in Oakland, CA, on 11th February 1974, which he undertook with The Band, who had backed him too on ‘74’s Planet Waves album.
DISC TWO comes from Dylan’s infamous Rolling Thunder Revue, a tour which featured numerous musicians and collaborators. From the second, 1976 leg of the tour, this show from The Warehouse, in New Orleans, took place on 3rd May ‘76.
DISC THREE concludes this superb set with a 1986 concert featuring Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, recorded for live broadcast at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome, in Minneapolis, MN, on 26th June ’86.
