In the northern darkness, the heart of winter covers the land. Frost lay thick upon the soil and slowly suffocates the barren landscapes. The calling from the winds of the sea, like distant howls of agony, invokes the melancholy of longing. The longing for a sea at ease, the longing to once again see spring and life return.
The only way out is through this blistering cold. But will death greet us here, in this home, in my tomb of solitude? Or must we break the frozen spires rising from the heart, and face the adversary that is this hell of snow and ice?
