Sergeant Steel - Mister Sippi - CD

The hard rockers SERGEANT STEEL, founded in 2007, are back with the new album "Mister Sippi". The fifth studio album by Austria's hard rock band #1 will be released on June 30th, 2023 and is the successor to their most successful album 'Truck Tales' from 2020. SERGEANT STEEL have always worked with different influences for their interpretation of hard rock. The group has always been inspired by the Sunset Strip scene (GUNS N' ROSES, RATT) and other stadium rock heroes of the 80s such as early BON JOVI, CINDERELLA or WHITESNAKE. Combined with the music by legends like AEROSMITH, RAINBOW and JUDAS PRIEST. In recent years new influences such as LYNYRD SKYNYRD and MOLLY HATCHET have been added. SERGEANT STEEL literally got to the bottom of the matter. A road trip led from Memphis, TN via Clarksdale, MI ("Devil's Crossroads") to New Orleans, LA. Two key songs for the new album ("Down To Mississippi", "Mama Didn't Raise No Fool") were created, which are dedicated to the US American south and its music culture in a SERGEANT STEEL way. The album title "Mister Sippi" once again illustrates the sextet's special sense of humor and love of wordplay. The CD also includes a bonus track, the unplugged version of "Cry Out Your Heart, Baby!" taken from the "Men On A Mission" album, and shows one more side of the band. "Mister Sippi" is the melting pot of the well-known SERGEANT STEEL
elements with their new influences and produces 10 new hits that are screaming for the stages of this world!
