The Blackwhitecolorful - Brace For Impact - CD DIGIPAK

The Blackwhitecolorful are a Cologne Alternative Rock band with their 2nd longplayer.

Their aim is to be a living oxymoron: to create depth of content, to deal with complex topics, but at the same time to remain accessible and simple.

They are the light ones among the brutes, the quiet ones of the loud, the meek strikers - a contradictory recipe that nevertheless - or precisely because of it - works.

The concept album Brace For Impact is the third chapter of the Navigators saga. Each of the stories is about a group of people who, out of different hardships, leave their homeland and set off for faraway places.

Out of necessity, however, they become pioneers who succeed in breaking through imaginary boundaries and opening up the untapped.

While the first album is still about exploring unknown oceans, now it's about conquering space. Musically, The Blackwhitecolorful skilfully maneuver between Alternative Rock/Metal, Post-Rock and Post-Hardcore.

In addition to deep, voluminous guitars and crystal clear, catchy vocals, there are also long synthesizer passages and instrumental parts.

A wide spectrum from soft sounds to hard rhythms.

The first single Echoes combines exactly this friction surface of wide guitars and modern synths, gentle vocals, without losing the driving pulse for a moment. Numerous collaborations round off the whole thing: singers Tobias Brandt (Cera Maven), Emelyn Blanco (Privacy Please) and Eric Stöcker (Illusions Fade), as well as 1LIVE presenter Kotaro Dürr for a guest performance on bass.
