Deliverance, formed in 2012 and led by Etienne Sarthou (Aqme, Grymt, Lazy...) and Pierre Duneau (Memories of a Dead Man), immediately immersed themselves in a creative cocoon to solidify the foundations of their musical identity. Artistic rigor and the desire to forge a unique entity are the core of this project. Following the acclaim of their debut EP "Doomsday, Please," DELIVERANCE wholeheartedly embarked on the writing of their first album. The chilling air of Nordic black metal intertwines with the soundscapes of post-rock, meeting the suffocating heaviness of death and sludge, creating a visceral journey into the depths of the human soul. Titled "Chrst," the album invites listeners into a realm of such darkness and intensity that finding an exit seems futile. Yet, the journey extends further, as glimpses of light emerge here and there, broadening the band's horizon for a complete sensory experience.
