Die Kammer opens its doors again: with a new album and a new sound, reinventing itself and showing itself to be full of energy, drive and experimentation after all these years! Musically, the exceptional formation moves from catchy songs in a semi-acoustic pop-darkwave-alternative style mix, to small bizarre-bourlesque-circus-esque works of art, to moving melancholic and melancholy ballads. Testory's powerful and concise voice gives the chamber its very own overall sound. Her songs, mostly in English, tell bizarre and morbid stories that are characterized by melancholy, transience and death, but also by an unwavering, passionate lust for life. The narratives often contain subtle sarcasm and social criticism, as well as autobiographical experiences and personal adventures. The two makers of Kammer can look back on decades of experience in numerous well-known bands. They are as familiar with the stages of German and European live clubs as they are well-disposed towards them.
