Defeat of common sense is the first LP album of Endbroken (France). In this nine track opus - mixed and mastered at Vamacara Studio (France) -, the band distills 44 min 31s of intense and various music mainly influenced by thrash and death metal. All along the tracks, the out of the grave and surgical growl answers to razor-sharp riffs underlined by melodic guitars. The few breakdown and ambient passages reinforce the power and intensity delivered by the rhythm section. The alternation of tempo and rhythms echoes to the album themes, reflecting the feelings experienced when life endlessly switches back and forth between calm and storm. The nine tracks album explores the dark path followed by mankind and interrogates his ability to preserve his common sense in a post-apocalyptic universe.
