FOREIGN is a Metal & Rock opera about the myth of the eternal Jew, who, according to a folk saga, refused Jesus the gift of water on the way to the crucifixion and mocked him, but instead drew the curse of immortality. Under the direction of author/composer/singer and keyboardist Ivan Jacquin, he continues his journey at the place where the first part ended. It leads him to the crusades in Jerusalem, where he meets the terrible Salah ad-Din. The history of this second album goes on to the Industrial Revolution. The provisional end begins with the numerous revolutions in France in 1789, as well as the beginning of the 19th century. Numerous guest musicians such as Leo Margarit (Pain of Salvation, Epysode), Mike Lepond (Symphony X, Silent Assassins), singers Zak Stevens (Circle II Circle, Savatage, TSO), Andy Kuntz (Vanden Plas) and Tom Englund (Evergrey), as well as Amanda Lehmann (Steve Hackett Band) appears.. A total of 40 musicians took part, including instruments such as harp, hurdy gurdy, duduk, dulcimer. An impressive work not only for fans of Metal Crossover, but also for modern world music listeners.
