Gloria Perpetua - The Darkness We Wanna Hide - CD

Gloria Perpetua, the new rising star in the heavy metal scene, was created in 2023 by Brazilian bassist and composer Daniel Fuchshuber. Joining forces with Rogério Byron (guitarist and composer), Bruno Luiz (guitarist and producer), and Raphael Dantas (singer and producer), the band aims to bring a fresh breeze to the metal genre with the goal to provide a platform for new talents who wouldn't have had a chance twenty years ago.

Gloria Perpetua's debut album, "The Darkside We Wanna Hide" is set to be released on next 30/08/2024 and promises to be a powerful entry into the metal scene. The album, consisting of ten tracks composed by the team and performed by seven talented singers, has already seen the release of four singles that herald a bright future. The featured singers include Raphael Dantas (Ego Absence), Vitor Veiga (Aquaria), Christian Passos (Wizards), João Noleto (Vocifer), Marcelo Kalunga (solo), and Vitor Rodrigues (Native Blood/Torture Squad).

Their music is a blend of heavy and power metal influences, metal enthusiasts who enjoy rediscovering old 80s and 90s records will find much to appreciate in their music. Gloria Perpetua's lyrics draw inspiration from themes of goodness and personal responsibility, rejecting war and bloodshed evolving for a better world. The band's main influences include groups like Blind Guardian (old works), Iced Earth, Helloween (90s), Stratovarius and Accept. The metal genres that most influence Gloria Perpetua are Power Metal and Classic Heavy Metal of the German school.
