Hot Mass - Happy, Smiling And Living The Dream - LP COLOURED

Hailing from Swansea, UK, Hot Mass play crushing riffs like they arrived into the world with electric guitars in their hands. With members originally carving their way in the music scene as young rockers from previous UK bands, their eclectic taste in music has all been thrown into the melting pot to create some melodic, grunge fuelled, indie popping, jaw dropping, punk bangers awash with defiant upbeat lyricism and more guitar battles than you’d find on a Thin Lizzy record.

They released their debut record ‘Nervous Tensions’ in 2016 via independent record labels; Brassneck (UK), All in Vinyl (UK) and Waterslide (Japan) records, with copies being sold worldwide. Since then, Hot Mass have been UK tour support to established acts such as punk legends ‘The Bouncing Souls’ (Rise, Chunksaah, Epitaph) and American rockers ‘The Menzingers’ (Epitaph). In 2017 Hot Mass embarked on their first European tour and in 2018 they released a 7-inch record featuring 2 new songs via UK label, All In Vinyl.

Moving forwards, Hot Mass have been focussing on writing their 2nd album which was recorded at Sonic One Studios, Wales before being mixed and mastered by recording engineer and producer, Bob Cooper (Citizen, Self Defence Family, Ginger Wildheart, Nervus, Cultdreams). Their new album features 12 songs and is titled 'Happy, Smiling and Living the Dream' as a satirical and apathetic take on current world affairs and modern lifestyles.
