Ichon - KASSESSA - CD DIGIPAK

ICHON, the rapper and singer from Montreuil (Paris), is back with his new album KASSESSA. Since Pour de vrai, his last project, the man who likes to say he "sings rap" has left Paris for the peacefulness of the countryside. With his producers Loubenski and Max Baby, he locked himself away in the attic of his house. There, he sketched out the contours of his new project. The rap bedrock he's always kept within him mixed with his recent years melodic and instrumental inspirations. Anger and ardor have been blended with melancholy, a form of candor and the artist's storytelling delicacy. Ichon is not trying to change the world, but to extract us from it, for the duration of his album. On KASSESSA, it's as if every part of Ichon has finally come together. He takes off, and brings us with him.
