Alongside such acts as Portrait and Ram Uppsala's finest In Solitude are one of the main protagonists of the New Wave Of Swedish Heavy Metal. Formed in 2002, they recorded the "Hidden Dangers" 7" single in 2008. The same year High Roller Records released the band's self-titled debut album, which received a lot of praise in all the big Metal magazines in Germany (and all over Europe). Götz Kühnemund of Deaf Forever magazine instantly became a big fan of the band. Their music shows parallels to old Mercyful Fate and early Iron Maiden (with Paul Di'Anno). In contrast to "The World. The Flesh. The Devil." their self-titled first album is a much rawer affair, hitting the listener straight on the head. It's time to re-discover already classic Occult Metal anthems such as "In the Darkness", "Witches Sabbath" or "Temple of the Unknwon". The album features classic artwork by The Tyrant (see also Portrait and Wolf).
