"Noise Between the Shades" is Melting Palm's second album, recorded at the legendary Clouds Hill Studio (The Mars Volta, Elbow) in Hamburg. They are considered the loudest band in Hamburg, blown up pigeonholes pave their way and now the second album "Noise Between The Shades" is released. A cascade of euphoria and drama - more beautiful sound, noise and emotion will be hard to find elsewhere. Five friends united in the fascination for reverb, delay, reverb, where can you find something like that? Well, at Melting Palms. Their brute sound opens up spaces, creates real space at first, but at the same time is always highly concentrated. Vague references are My Bloody Valentine, Sonic Youth or Deerhunter, for genre terms you would have to reach deep into the neologism box: Could this be Shoegaze-Psychedelic, Kraut-Punk or Wrecking Ball-Slag?
