Mist Of Misery - Severance - CD DIGIPAK

Founded in 2010 in Stockholm, Sweden, by Mortuz Denatus, Mist of Misery is an atmospheric Black Metal band currently consisting of three members, founding member Mortuz Denatus, Tenebris and Livsnekaren. Mist of Misery was founded with the vision to create music that was based on melancholy, darkness, depression and atmosphere.

That vision lead to the release of the "Bleak Autumn" EP in 2010, along with the fullength album by the same name in 2011. Further releases followed, the "Temple of Stilled Voices" EP in 2013 and the second fullength "Abscence" in 2016, which showcased the progression the band had made since their early days.

The band followed up the critically acclaimed album with two EPs in 2017 entitled "Shackles of Life" and "Fields of Isolation". 2019 saw the release of the third fullength album entitled "Unalterable”. Epic and grandiose, the lengthy "Unalterable" had to be divided into two parts, making it a double album.

After three years, Mist of Misery is ready to return with another epic album entitled ”Severance” via Non Serviam Records. ”Severance” is the band’s first concept album and tells a tragic tale in 19th century rural England. With this album the band has taken their symphonic sound to a whole new level, which will surely astound new and old listeners alike.
