Finnish grindcore duo GOATBURNER have joined forces with Brazilian experimental grindcore outfit TEST to create GOATEST, a new collaborative project set to release its self-titled debut album. Bringing together musicians deeply rooted in the international extreme music underground, GOATEST features Keijo "Kaos" Niinimaa, also known as the vocalist of Finnish grindcore veterans ROTTEN SOUND, and Jaakko "Spider" Forsman of RATFACE, alongside Thiago "Barata" and Joao Kombi of Brazilian grindcore unit TEST. The collaboration mixes different backgrounds and approaches to extreme music in a concentrated burst of grindcore and sludge intensity, raw energy and uncompromising attitude, connecting the Finnish and Brazilian underground scenes through a shared instinct for restlessness, aggression and sonic extremity.
