All the classics are re-recorded and re-arranged. The band worked with the same team which did the production of the Misanthrope Immortel 2021 re-recordings.

A very interesting feature for all Misanthrope fans should be the 2 songs that were never recorded before from era "Deus Puerilis" and "Miracles: Totem Taboo".
In additions to this, the album also contains new musical arrangements by Anthony Scemama, Gaël Féret & Jean-Jacques Moréac. S.A.S de l'Argilière lyrics are available for the first time in their full version including original unreleased verses and are completely singed in French mainly for the first time.
LES DÉCLINISTES is the 34th-anniversary studio album by French Extreme Metallers Misanthrope, to be released in 2023 by Holy Records. The album is a selection of re-recorded classic songs from earlier Misanthrope demos and albums 1990-1997, from Hater of Mankind up to Visionnaire.
LES DÉCLINISTES was recorded and produced by Misanthrope at Studio Ænigma, France in 2015-2021 and mixed and mastered by Frédéric Gervais at Studio Henosis, France in 2021-2022.
