Reverend was an American thrash / power metal band from Seattle, Washington. Formed in early 1989 when vocalist David Wayne left Metal Church. Most of the earliest band members, were recruited from a Los Angeles power metal act named Heretic (and Heretic’s vocalist Mike Howe joined Metal Church). Led by vocalist David Wayne REVEREND recorded their debut 4 track EP in 1989. ’The World Won’t Miss You’ was the band’s debut album from 1990.
Reverend is basically a slightly heavier continuation of David Wayne’s ex band Metal Church on this album.
