Spectrale - Arcanes - CD DIGIPAK

Spectrale, Jeff Grimal’s solo project, was born in 2014. It is the result of a long-term work on acoustic, hypnotic and esoteric musical explorations. The band releases a demo in May 2016 on Inductive Oppression Records, but also a split on Emanations with the help of Jean-Baptiste Poujol.
“?” is released in November 2017 by Les Acteurs de l’Ombre Productions. It highlights a total freedom in terms of composition, rhythm and harmony experimentations. The album’s genesis calls on some meditation and automatic writing, but also on a wide and instinctive range of musical techniques.
After that release, the line-up sees some changes in its ranks. Jeff Grimal (guitars) is joined by Raphaël Verguin (cello), Léo Isnard (guitars and drums) and Xavier Godart (guitars and synths). Between 2018 and 2019, the band plays several shows in France, Belgium and Germany.
Spectrale’s upcoming album has this time taken shape from the collaboration of these four musicians and will be released in the fall of 2020 by Les Acteurs de l’Ombre Productions.
