The 1980 Rarities Broadcasts Featuring Outtakes And Alternative Arrangements From The Gaucho Sessions

The seventh studio album by Steely Dan, released November 21, 1980, by MCA Records, proved to be the Dan's final studio album before a 20-year hiatus from the recording industry.

During early sessions for the album, a number of alternatives takes and complete songs that were never included on the final record were put onto tape.
While promoting the album, Becker and Fagen chose to broadcast a number of these cuts on live radio shows.

These takes and songs now feature on this new 2LP set for the first time on vinyl.
