Tassi - Northland III - CD DIGIPAK A5

Aaaahhhhh Tassi! What can I say about this excellent project that is both esoteric and initiatory?

So let's start at the beginning, it's a side project of Dryad, the frontman of Bliss-Illusion, also a band in the vein of post-black and blackgaze.
Tassi is a concept in itself because the name of the group is also the name of a bard who travels through different dimensions and different worlds just as mysterious, divine and magical as each other, in search of his good. -beloved Uni, a Deva, an angel, a female figure erected in the distance of the path like a lens, both imposing like a monolith and at the same time as unreal and vaporous as a thought, a sensation, a nocturnal breeze, but omnipresent all throughout Tassi's adventure. And for this project, Dryad, through his avatar Tassi, invented a worldly language that is used in the lyrics of all the albums. If while listening, you hear sounds that vaguely remind you of French, English, Japanese, Tibetan, Sanskrit, and of course Chinese, without fully understanding the meaning, it's normal, is the language of the dream world of Tassi.

In the double album, Northland I & II, released in Europe last year, Dryad graced us with two chapters of this initiatory journey, including the transcendence of Tassi during his journey through dimensions, witnessing the birth and the death of the gods in the 1st part; and his dreamlike visit inside the Caelum.Deva, dream book which contains a whole universe and the collapse of the world of the Devas, people inside this book in the second part. It should be noted that the Caelum.Deva is a collection of poems written by Dryad himself.

We therefore arrive in this third part of the saga, Northland III which will be released in March by Time Tombs Production which narrates the continuation of the journey of the bard Tassi after his release from the book of dreams. The story begins at the foot of Mount Pulaka, an imaginary place, where Tassi wakes up after his journey in the Caelum.Deva, and contemplates the sea of ??stars above him while listening to the song of the sea which opens at the horizon, in front of the mountain…
