The Belgians White Heat came together in 1980 and released the albums ›White Heat‹ (1982), ›Krakatoa‹ (1983) and ›Runnin‹ For Life' (1985). At the end of 1986, White Heat disbanded. Since then, they have a legends status. "Krakatoa" is the name of the volcano located in the straits of Sumatra and Java and symbolizes the powerful music of White Heat. The second album of the Belgians still sounds fresh and like an stronger version of AC/DC. Hard rock of the early eighties with a sharp edge NWoBHM, with hard rock influences by Krokus, Whitesnake or Van Halen. Songs that are catchy and melodic, and at the same time captivate with their energy. White Heat play Power Rock without compromise and that's why, almost forty years later, it's still fun to listen to.
