The House is the horror-inspired solo project of Vladimír Pavelka, known from Cult of Fire and Death Karma.
As a child, Pavelka accidentally watched The Evil Dead on VHS. What began as fear soon transformed into a lifelong fascination with horror, death, and the dark side of human imagination. Decades later, that fascination takes shape in The House, a tribute to some of the most iconic horror films and soundtracks ever created.
From A Nightmare on Elm Street, The Exorcist, and Halloween to Suspiria, Phantasm, and Christine, the album reimagines legendary themes that have haunted generations of horror fans. Blending atmospheric darkness, nostalgia, and a deep love for the genre, The House pays homage to the composers and filmmakers who defined horror cinema.
A must-have release for fans of horror movies, cult soundtracks, and all things macabre.
Let there be death and horror!
