In 2015, after spending four years touring the world with HEAVEN'S BASEMENT, Aaron Buchanan left the band and immediately entered the studio with producer James Curtis-Thomas, guitarist Ryan Woods, and his sister and guitarist Laurie Buchanan. In the preceding years, Curtis-Thomas and Buchanan had envisioned creating an album with deep, mature, and vibrant content. A few months later, following a trip to Australia where many vocals were recorded in a shed just outside Brisbane, the critically acclaimed and award-winning album "The Man With Stars On His Knees" was born in a small studio just outside London, lacking hot water and central heating. This album stands as a true testament to Buchanan's dedication to music and his artistic vision. At the beginning of 2019, "The Man With Stars On His Knees" is re-released in a special edition featuring five new bonus tracks, including two brand new studio songs: "Undertow" and "Fire In The Fields Of Mayhem," along with three live tracks (available exclusively on the CD version).
