Swedish Grammy nominated Albin Lee Meldau and critically acclaimed American singer songwriter Lisse team up to release Josephine on the 13th September. It is the final single before Albin’s upcoming album ‘Discomforts’ due out 27th September, made with Eg White (Adele) and Nick Lobel (Harry Styles) in Shepherds Bush, London. Josephine was first released by Albin in Swedish language in 2021 and proceeded to go Top 10 and multi platinum across Scandinavia. With +350m streams to his name and a Swedish Grammy nomination in the singer-songwriter category, the half British-half Swedish artist is impressively decorated. He's been awarded an MMETA and Anchor award at the iconic Reeperbahn Festival, had a multi platinum single, landed multiple Top 25 airplay records in the UK, a Top 35 airplay record in the Netherlands and a Top 200 German airplay record alongside global viral chart placements. Albin also recently collaborated with Jack Savoretti on his previous single ‘Hold Your Head Up’ and appeared on NPR’s highly coveted Tiny Desk, sold out arenas in Scandinavia and toured North America with Jessie Ware. Lissie’s storied career took off with 2010’s ‘Catching A Tiger’ which was certified Gold in the UK, while her other three studio albums have all reached the UK Top 20. Her previous album, 2018’s ‘Castles’, was her highest charting record to date when it debuted at #9.
