Alligator formed in 1988 in Vigevano, during a peak moment for the Italian underground metal scene. Blending Bay Area thrash speed with European death metal intensity, they stood out for their power and technical skill. After the Bog of Horror demo (1990), they released the acclaimed debut Immortal Entity (1991), followed by Cerebral Implosion (1994) and Rules (1996), which also marked the end of their journey. Featuring members like Gianluca Melino, Francesco “Killa” Capasso, Tiziano Colombi, and Andrea Bellazzi, Alligator remain a cult name in Italy’s ‘90s extreme metal history.
