Recorded in 2010 but never released, this album reveals a rather unique side of Brant Bjork, particularly with its distinctly soulful rock vibe. Are we witnessing the birth of a new genre? Low desert funk rock, perhaps? Some are certainly willing to take that leap. It's clear that this opus will surprise many, but what a delightful surprise it is! If PRINCE had ventured into stoner territory, it might have sounded like this. The organic production completes the work, just waiting for your ears to let it weave through the depths of your mind.
