Cineastre is a German Black Metal and Dark Folk project that was brought to life in 2018 by Wintergeist.
The lyrics deal with themes of romanticism - longing, nature-mysticism and folklore. The music is meant to touch the soul, reaching to depict the beauty of poetry, dark woodland and the scents of nature.
After two demos, three split-releases and four years of work Cineastre signed to Northern Silence Productions, and the band finally reveals their self-titled debut album.
The CD comes as Collector’s Edition in 4-panel Digipack, limited to 500 copies.
