First released in 1996, "Dusk… and Her Embrace" remains a timeless classic, leaving an indelible mark on the extremes of both sound and culture. As the band’s first major album following their signing with Music For Nations, this release sparked a true paradigm shift within the black, gothic, and symphonic metal scenes; the band moved away from the raw brutality of their early recordings to embrace a macabre aesthetic with increasing naturalness.
Now celebrating its 30th anniversary, tracks such as "Heaven Torn Asunder," "Funeral in Carpathia," "A Gothic Romance," and the epic title track remain staples of the band’s live set and enduring fan favorites. To mark the occasion, Music For Nations is proud to present a well-deserved and highly anticipated reissue of this immensely cherished, revered, and celebrated masterpiece, now available in a range of bespoke, deluxe, and limited-edition formats.
