Formed in 1990 in Bruay-la-Buissière, northern France (not far from the breeding grounds of Supuration and Loudblast), DAGON delivered a raw and furious brand of American-style Death Metal. Though short-lived, the band left behind two demos and a contribution to the legendary Obscurum Per Obscurius compilation before disbanding, only to rise again 30 years later! Now compiled under Aeonthology, these recordings capture the full intensity of their early days.

Recorded professionally in Valenciennes with Stéphane Buriez (Loudblast) behind the console, Bound to Mutation showcases tight riffing, cavernous vocals, and chaotic solos reminiscent of Death and early Slayer, while the rehearsal 4 Paths to Lunacy stands as a relic of a past where imperfection was a mark of authenticity.
This 11-track release is more than just a historical document, it's a blast from a time when death metal was still being forged in the underground.

Recommended if you like: early Death, Slayer, Possessed.
