For those that haven't heard What Was Left of Them is a soundtrack for the aftermath. The embers have gone cold, the bodies withered, but the weight remains. A lament carved from rusted strings and fractured voices, where every note feels buried beneath ash and regret. Deadyellow have crafted 48 minutes of atmospheric black metal/post-black metal that encompasses all aspects of a genre that already does so much and still has managed to birth a unique experience.
