The History of Death & Burial Rituals Part II is the second chapter in Death Karma's journey through death traditions and funeral rites from around the world.
The album explores eight unique perspectives on death and burial: Haitian Voodoo rituals, Tibetan sky burials, Viking ship funerals, New Zealand's Mongrel Mob funeral traditions, the eternal journey of Egyptian pharaohs, the ancestor veneration ceremonies of Tana Toraja in Indonesia, the famous Czech ossuaries, and the haunting Aokigahara forest in Japan.
Inspired by real history, cultural traditions, and Infernal Vlad's personal experiences with death, the album continues Death Karma's mission to preserve and honor humanity's diverse approaches to mortality through extreme metal.
