This album features previously unreleased recordings by the legendary French band Dogs. Known for blending their perfect 50s/60s influences into a sound uniquely their own, Dogs enjoyed a golden period from 1977 to 1984, releasing some nearly classic albums, but sometimes the production toned down the authenticity. It is often said that demos are superior to a released product and it is certainly the case here. These demos for their Legendary Lovers album are a revelation wild, rocking and sometimes moody with an elegance and class that raised to the bar that very few other bands managed to reach.
