EIHWAR is a duo of wild creatures, blending Nordic folk with electro-industrial pulse and a firm refusal of ceremonial solemnity. Signed to Season of Mist, they have taken their war-drum chaos from Hellfest to Wacken Open Air and Midgardsblot and opened for The Hu in France and Germany.
Asrunn is, by her own account, a spirit of Hugrheim, the hidden tenth world of Yggdrasil, currently on loan to a human body and thoroughly enjoying the arrangement.
Now she has a form that stays put on a shelf.
This full resin statue catches her in her mantis pose, arms raised and stance wide, crowned with an animal skull and wrapped in furs. She stands on a rocky base scattered with stones, bones and a rune-marked standing stone, with Mark's helmet resting at her feet, because some bonds survive even a trip back from the lake of the dead.
It is made through a fine-arts process, with every part polished by hand and all the colouring fully hand-painted.
Standing approximately 20 cm tall and 16 cm wide, it is a proper collector's piece, meant to be looked at closely and given a good spot. A fitting companion to Hugrheim for anyone who has followed the duo into the tenth world and would like a small piece of it at home.
Three hundred copies exist, each numbered underneath, in case the tenth world ever asks for a headcount.
